After a particularly brutal fight with his father, Clyde needs to get out of Manchester — and fast. Ideally, before the police find him. His first ticket is Lenny, who has been aimlessly driving circles around Britain with no real destination in mind. Clyde is struck with infatuation almost instantly, but the time to make a move is dwindling fast. Soon, Lenny will drop Clyde at his destination and then go roaring into the distance, leaving Clyde forgotten and alone.
